Darrell Hajdu, 2016

A 1978 graduate, ​Darrell played football and baseball from 1975-78. Among the honors he received was sharing MVP recognition during the Industrial Bowl. He was named All Mid-State two years in-a-row.

His outstanding events during this time at GHS were winning the Industrial Bowl and going to the state playoffs. He most enjoyed working with the coaches and learning how to work as a team.

​A favorite memory of Darrell's is getting to meet Coach Bear Bryant while in Nashville attending the Breakfast of Champions.
