Daniel Owsley, 2020

Daniel was a member of the graduating class of 1982. He played basketball, football, baseball and golf during his career at GHS.

He was selected All-District and All Mid-State Honorable Mention in football. His senior season he helped lead the team to an 8-3 record and a berth in the Industrial Bowl

In basketball, he was selected All-District, Mr. Hustle, and FCA Player of the Year. His teams had three seasons of 20-plus wins and two sub-state appearances.

In baseball, he received All-District and he was selected to the All_Mid State all-star game. He played baseball at Austin Peay State University.

Daniel said he enjoyed playing with a lot of talented athletes and teammates at GHS who just wanted to win regardless of who got the credit.
